thanks for using..
nice. You have edited the template. it must be one of the IE7 bugs that caused the background image for rss, feed links to change into bullet points.
i’m wondering if there any workaround to solve this problem…..
If you find any solution for that
just tell me
coz I can’t find the bug..
**IE sucks..
gud job arepheyz..

hehehe..taknak ke ajar saya ni utk buat template yang lawa2 macam ko buat..
jangan risau, anak murid tak lawan guru punya..cuma nak belajar dan kembangkan lagi hasilnya.. =)
Awesome, bro. Keep it up. I’ve digged it.
thanks a lot arephyz. great work, really like this mac look
hi arephyz. i really like this theme, but i have big problem with IE6. Check pictures: http://img99.imageshack.us
/my.php?image=ithemeieprob01av6.jpg and http://img219.imageshack.us
/my.php?image=ithemeieprob02nj6.jpg
(please delete space between slash and .us to view pictures)
There are 2 problems: the main column is below than the right column and on the second picture you can see, that single colomuns on the right side are grouped into one
so please help me with this problem if you can.
my friend just tell me the background screw up in resolution high than 1024×768.. if you use high than that, can you try 1024×768 resolution, and tell me if the problem still occur,
thanks for your message.. I try to “kill the bugs
” after I know the problem..
to doddi;
I made some changes,
can you please view this with your ie6..
then reply here…
thank u..
thx arephyz for your help. i try your changed template, but there are still same problems
nothing changed. a friend of mine try my blog, where i have your itheme template installed too and he has same troubles… btw. my resolution is 1280×1024.
my blog: doddiblog.blogspot.com if you find out some solution, let me know please. thanks
and btw. i changed the resolution to lower and template still didnt work
but one change is in your updated template: the place, where is how many comments are in post are on correct place.
doddi, I see the problem now, for the sidebar, it because of Ie6..
see the original theme here with IE6. you see the same right
and the background image width only 1024..
you can use this bg if you want (http://kerolapis.googlepages.com/html-bg.gif)
replace url above with your body background..
i try to fix the problem but fail.. sorry..
arephyz: the original template works fine for me in ie6… anyway that’s a pity that its no way to fix this ie bug
please if someone find fix for this, public it
I use ie6 to view the original theme and the template that I modified , it show exactly like the pic you upload..
I don’t know, maybe because i used standalone ie6..
I still try to fix this..
If i find the way, i will leave you a comment at your blog..:)
*To all reader if you find a way to fix this problem leave a comment*
I’m really appreciate ur help..
ok arephyz, thx, i wish you good luck with issue
I think this is one of the most common bug in IE6 and below. In fact, i think my blog has the same problem. I think it is something to do with how IE6 interpret box model….
Will give you the answer later after I downloded your template…
First, let me clarify my understanding of the problem. The problem is that the sidebar column seems to be higher the main column, right?
After extensive checking, the problem is not caused by the layout but the source of the problem lies in the image format. The image format of h2 title for sidebar is in .png. IE6 and below does not interpret the transparency contain in .png very well. There are few solutions to this, but the simplest would be to use .gif instead of .png
Thus, replace this url
http://kerolapis.googlepages.com/sidep-handle.png
with this
http://hafiz238.googlepages.com/sidep-handle.gif
The same goes for your smilies which are in .png format. Hope this helps.
p/s: i don’t think ‘moz-border-radius’ and ‘webkit-border-radius’properties goes very well with any version of IE. Perhaps, you can replace this with .gif to achieve that rounded look at the bottom of each blogger widget.
thank you bro.. I’ll try to work on this..
Again.. thank you very much..
the icons on the archives, feeds etc are not displayed on -iE7
yeah.. i’ll already told that in my post..
and I had refer that to one of my friend, and he say it because of Ie7 won’t accept “li class”..
If you want to show the icons for meta in ie7, you can use/add html widget..
**I will fix the other problem
and also the bullet if i find any solution.
later, currently i’m really buzy..
to hafiz238: thx a lot man!! when i replaced that png with gif this fixed problem with panel in the right side! great
but the main panel is still lower than right panel.
I lost the ‘meta’ thing. How to get it back?
http://net-worm-cheese.blogspot.com/
Tan, it seems you remove the html widget for meta, try uploading again the iTheme.xml
any other way than uploading again?
can add it manually ?
can we add another column in this template?
Tan;
1)add html widget name meta and put some content, to make sure you can save it.
2) view this blog source and search for h2 class ‘meta’
3) under that, copy div class ‘widget-content’ until /div
4)go to your template –> expand widget template.
5) find h2 class meta, under that,
highlight div class ‘widget-content’ until /div
6)paste the code that you copy before.
7)preview before save it
there is another way but i think this one is simple.
**you can add another sidebar but with the same size.
i just add the div class ‘widget-content’ until /div to the meta page element and it works!!
Thanks!! Do you have tutorial on how to add sidebar? Hope you post it!
hi arephyz, i have some little problems with your updated itheme.
i uploaded 3 pics for you: first is pic with problems in firefox, second is the same but from another angle and the third is how looks my blog in ie6… i think that are not big problems, so if you should fix them i would be very grateful. or someone else who can fix it… you can check my doddiblog.blogspot.com in firefox or ie6 if you want to see the issue too. here are pics:

btw. have someone else these troubles??
doddi
Hi Doddi,
for the label title problem i had updated the theme..
for the sidebar,
your content overflow outside the background image. It because the image height, you can fill it with white color, but the rounded image will be white too..
ok, search for
.sidebar ul
and add #fff like this
*{padding-bottom:0px;#fff background:url(http://kerolapis.googlepages.com/sidepul-bottom.gif) no-repeat bottom;}
then search for .sidebar .widget {
add #fff like this
background:#fff url(http://kerolapis.googlepages.com/sidepul-bottom.gif) no-repeat bottom;
my suggestion, shorten your content, use flat archive.
i had test it with ie6, and it should be ok..
thx arephyz, all good now
i have one question for ya: could you recommend me some good search widget for my site? or is it possible to add in your itheme search button like is in the original itheme on this site? http://www.ndesign-studio.com/demo/wordpress/
